Korea Stamp World is situated on the 2nd basement floor in the Seoul Central Post Office. This museum designed to help the visitors to learn about postage stamps. This place also emerged as a place where people who are crazy about philately can exchange information about their postage stamps.
There are 4 sections in this Korea Stamp World, which is: The Postal Service History Gallery, the Hands-on Postage Stamp Experience Gallery, the Postage Stamp Information Gallery and Philately Class. The museum also has various special exhibitions and events such as the “Create Your Own Stamps” event. Beside, there is also “Stamp Culture Market” takes place in this museum where visitors can buy a wide range of philately supplies. In the year of 2009, the market opens from June 26th to 27th, from September 5th to 6th and from October 10th to 11th.
