British Tourists Visit to Bali Up 46.98 Percent

Denpasar (ANTARA News) – Bali received the visit of British tourists as much as 32,129 people during the quarter I-2011, increased 46.98 percent over the same quarter the previous year of only 21,859 people. “They mostly come through the airport with a plane that flew directly from his country and only 1179 people through sea port with boat cruise,” said Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Bali Province, Ir Gede Suarsa MSI, in Denpasar, on Thursday.

He said that during 2010 British tourists take a holiday in Bali island, as many as 96,412 people, an increase of 2.77 percent over the previous year which recorded 93,688 people. England managed up the ranks of the order from nine to seventh position of the ten countries most tourists to the bali island resort supplier, after Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and South Korea. The seven countries which society increasingly happy holiday to Bali include other than English as well as Australia 34.92 percent from 162,082 people to 210,903 people, China 0.19 percent from 71,052 people to 71,186 people and Malaysia, 32.95 percent of 39.435orang to 52,507 people.
